This section will be filled up with my feeling about the car scene in general. But its not only about cars, its more about the whole lifestyle, from music i like to wallpapers or documentaries:

Porsche 964 911 Turbo Flatnose: Ultra Rare, Ultra Cool - Carfection

Porsche suprises me over and over. Never saw such a version of a 911. Really like the frontlights from the 928. Fits perfect my opinion. Miss the good old pop up lights.

RESURRECTION - Rescue of a VW 1955 panelvan - Forest find !

Petrolheads know the feeling, seeing a great car out there in the country covered up in rust with an owner how doesnt care about these cars. Just sad to see, and even better to see that there are more and more people out there that will restore such "wrecks". Great video, great car and a nice story, mixed up with good music.

Nice picture of a nice 65 Doge Coronet Wagon. Also like the farm that is in the background. Go to the reddit post and give him some feedback, its a nice shot in my opinion.

Wow! What a nice color on the 924 (turquoise metallic). Im really blown away by that color. Also "signal green" has a nice touch. Seems like its an early 924 because of the filler cap and because of having no spoiler. But it seems like there arent many of them out there, most of the 924 are "marsred" the same as my 924.

Nice picture from the past with so many cool old classic cars. I wish this would be today, so many great colors on the cars and big engines in them.

Song: Cowboys & Aliens - Moving Target

Nice stonerrock song from "Cowboys & Aliens" for cruising on the autobahn/highway or just roads.

Series: "Barn Find Hunter Episode 2"

Have another look on the Hagerty-Series. The white Jaguar XJ12C is just a beauty. I like the idea of streching the doors and remove the back ones to create a coupe design. Maybe i would prefer the XJ with the 6 cylinder engine in it. The bulletproof limosine is just stunning for the time back in the days. You should`ve a look on the channel of Hagerty theres even more interesting stuff about old cars.

Series: "Barn Find Hunter Episode 1"

First episode of the "Hagerty-Barnfind-Series". Interesting series about cars that are just rotting away, it makes me feel so sad. You should have a look there are so many cars i´ve never heard of. Especially the white Porsche 911 make me sad but on the other hand i like the blue Morris Minor.

News/Stories about my newest trips around the world and my own opinion on articles:
Porsches are stolen very often here in Germany
(Click on the picture to go to the article.)

First things first. This article is in german but ill write down what the article is about. Its about cars that get stolen very often. Cars from Porsche are stolen more often, in germany they are the number one, also Mercedes SL Pagode and the Volkswagen Transporter 1/2/3 gets stolen heavily. The article says that its because of 3 reasons that Porsche are stolen so often:

  • Because of the design that Porsches have
  • The money that you get for your old Porsche is just over the top and will raise even more.
  • The example of special Porsches like the new 911 R that is so rare that they have such a high value later on
  • Their are also different examples of the value that gone crazy over the years. The 356 A 1300 you couldve got that car in the 1950s for 6,000€ now its like 138,000 worth.

    Opinion:
Its not very surprising that Porsches get stolen so often, maybe for people that have never owned a Porsche its a surprise, but i knew it already that Porsche have such high value later on that so nothing new in this article. On the other side im wondering why VW T3 are stolen so often? You can see a lot of them even today on the streets. Like the VW Golf 2. The article stated that in Hamburg in 2015 20 Porsche got stolen. I wonder how many T`s are stolen.

Changing some lights on the VW Passat 35i, huge difference
(Click on the picture to go to the website.)

The VW Passat just got some new lights on the front and on the back. You can see a huge difference between the new headlights and the old ones. (left is the new one and on the right the old one). Now i need to test them on public roads and hope that the visiablity is much better than with the old ones.

Art cars, prototype car museum Hamburg, Germany
(Click on the picture to go to the website.)

One week ago the prototype car museum in hamburg just opened a special galerie where the famous art cars from BMW are shown, today i have visited the galerie. If you are close to hamburg you should have a look at them. They are great not because of there nice colors, its more about the fascination that a manufacturer allows artists to paint one of their cars. I love this kind of art even that im not a big fan of the color schemes itself, but its just nice to see cars that are unique and have some history. If you wondering about if its worth to visit it, i would say it is because there is even more aside the art cars, theres also a whole Porsche collection, too.

These are my cars, i owned or i currently own. At the end you find a list of cars i would like to own:

    1982 Porsche 924. 2.0L

This Porsche 924 i bought in febuary 2015. This is my first and favorite car i own right now. It has enough power for these days, but its just the 2.0L engine from audi, plans are that ill buy another one with the 2.5L engine and ill swap them. I added the porsche decals on the sides and the trail gate with the spoiler and painted the rims black with some silver left, so it looks like the famous fuchs rims.

  • Year: 1982
  • Engine: 2.0L
  • Color: Marsred
  • Gearbox: Manual

  • 1992 Volkswagen Passat B3 35i 2.0 Variant

This is my new daily driver, bought back in October 2016. The Volkswagen Passat B3 35i 2.0 will be my vehicle for the winterdays. Back in my childhood my dad had one of these in the "Arriva" edition. So ill try to rebuild the car from these days with the arriva rims, front and end bumper.

  • Year: 1992
  • Engine: 2.0L (2E)
  • Color: Royal Blue
  • Gearbox: Manual

  • 1997 BMW E39 540i Touring

This is the 1997 BMW E39 540i Touring. Was a hell of a ride, perfect for riding on the autobahn. What i like about this car its more a sleeper. It has a lot of space for stuff, a telephone and a televisionsystem on board. This was up to date back then, now you just laugh about these features. Since the car is just sitting in the garage because of my VW Passat 35i, the alpina rims are on another car (BMW E34 Touring) and he has the old ones back. The power delay you get when you kickdown, is just great, reminds me a bit of the old days when turbo cars had a turbolack.

  • Year: 1997
  • Engine: 4.4L
  • Color: Orientblue
  • Gearbox: Automatic

  • Cars i would like to own:
  • 1974: Porsche 930 (911 Turbo 3.3)
  • 1992: Mazda MX5 1.6 (115PS)
  • 1984: Volvo 740 Limousine GL
  • 1980: Audi Quattro
  • Early: Austin Mini
